22 Year-Old Onabu Obehioya wins the Miss Heritage Nigeria Beauty Pageant! Photos from the National Heritage Awards & Miss Heritage Nigeria 2012

It was a glamorous night on Sunday 2nd December 2012 at the Imo Concord Hotel, Owerri where the Grand Finale of the 2nd Edition of the “National Heritage Awards & Miss Heritage Nigeria Beauty Pageant” was held.

Declaring the event open, the Commissioner for Culture & Tourism in Imo State, Ugochi Nnanna Okoro said the state government decided to partner and support the National Heritage Project “for its cultural intentions and particularly to encourage the youth with good ideas that can impact positive potentials on the larger youths of our society“.

In her address, the CEO of Caires Grooming Agency & founder of National Heritage Awards and Miss Heritage Nigeria, Chinor Emeka, thanked the dignitaries that graced the occasion while assuring Nigerians that “the National Heritage Project was specifically conceptualized to ensure that our cultural heritage does not go into extinction”. Uloma Okorocha, daughter of the Executive Governor of Imo State received the “National Heritage Mothers Award” given to her mother.

Among the 2012 National Heritage Awardees were Sen. Chris N.D Anyanwu, Sen. S.N Anyanwu, Hon Uche Nwosu (Hon Commissioner for Lands Imo State), Rt. Hon Ude Okochukwu (Speaker Abia State House of Assembly), Frank Osodi (Renowned Nigerian Fashion Designer), Rev Prof Marcel Onyeocha and some other distinguished individuals.

The well attended event had other cultural attractions ranging from the native Heritage Carpet, to the Omenimo Cultural Dance troops. The climax of the event was the crowning of the 2012 Miss Heritage Nigeria Queen which was won by 22 year-old Onabu Obehioya Lilian who represented Delta State.

The cultural-oriented Awards and Beauty Pageant is organized by Caires Grooming Agency, a non-governmental events production and personal grooming organization.

Every woman would want to always look beautiful and young, many factors can affect that so you can always look beautiful and young, how to make you look beautiful and young is the major concern of this article.  The following 6 tips will definitely help you  look beautiful and young:

1.Always be positive 
Greatly affect your mind, for example if you are experiencing stress or having a lot of issues weighing you down,  your face will surely look older, so I recommend to always think positive and smile, no need to worry about your troubles, just relax and everything will be fine.

2. Exercise regularly 

If you want to always look beautiful and young I recommend to regularly exercise at least once a week, in addition to making a healthy exercise routine, you should also do activities you love such as this will help you relax well.  This will make your face and body to look younger .

3. Regular consumption of fruit and vegetables 
Fruits and vegetables usually contain many minerals and vitamins that are believed to maintain healthy skin and freshness of the face, plus good food makes the body balanced as beauty is not just a function of what you see on the outside but what radiates form within.

4.Choosing a cosmetic product, it helps 

Be careful in choosing a cosmetic product because sometimes they add to the problem. Be careful to choose a simple product that suits your skin type and is not filled with harsh chemicals.  I suggest you to identify your skin type before choosing a cosmetic product to suit your skin needs. 

 

5.Get enough sleep, you need it
Sleeping 8 hours a day can help the body to repair damaged cells and can be a good way to relax the skin and body from all the stress you go through during the day. 

6. Be happy

Happiness comes from within and radiates out, so try to always be happy because happy women are the prettiest women. And there is nothing more beautiful than a happy woman.

Fashion muse of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fashion muse for today is the ever smiling pretty model Janet Amarhavwie. She is currently a student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) studying French.

 With a wonderful  body(34-24-37) and as tall as 5 ft95inches , she is the definition of beauty( inside out). An urhobo girl who hails from delta state, currently a model  and loves everything from arts to modelling to French to photography and of course fashion.

 She dreams to set up the biggest art school in Nigeria that would be an international institution to accommodate students who are interested in arts, photography, ballet dance, singing, performing ,and fashion design so that they would be able to learn in a more organised setting and be recognised.

 And yes, i almost forgot, they would also learn French because she loves French and she hopes and plans to set up a French school also embodied in the art institution. 

She has a wonderful heart and am not surprised because much later she would establish a charity organisation.
